🙌 How do I manage my team?

How to add and remove team members

Written by Joshua Parkinson

To manage your team members or update their access to your social profiles, go to Settings > Team. Only the account admin can invite and remove team members or change their access.

How many people can use your account depends on your plan (see What are the differences between plans?). "Current team (X out of Y)" shows how many people are on your team, including you.

➕ How to add a team member

To add a team member:

  1. Under "Invite a team member", type the email of the person you want to add

  2. Under "Accounts they can manage (in Post Planner)", click each social profile they can post to (or click "Select all")

  3. Click "Invite team member"

The "Invite team member" button stays greyed out until you add an email and choose at least one profile.

Your team member will receive an email invite to join your team. Please ask your team member to follow the instructions in the email exactly in order to login and access your team account.

IMPORTANT: your team member MUST use the link in the invite email and the same email you invited them with when logging in.

TIP: If your team member didn't get the email, click the copy icon next to their name ("Copy invitation link") and send them the link yourself.

If your team is full, you can add an extra team member or upgrade your plan.

On a paid plan, you can add more team members without changing plans. See Add-ons.

❌ How to remove a team member

To remove a team member and revoke all rights, click the "X" on the team member's row, then click "Remove" to confirm. The row will disappear, and the team member will no longer be able to log in to your Post Planner account.

Posts your team member created on your profiles stay in your account and still go out. Your profiles and Posting Plans don't change.

✏️ How to edit the profiles of a team member

To edit the social profiles a team member can manage, click the profiles on the team member's row to activate (turn green) and deactivate (dim) the profile. Changes save right away. The green activated profiles are the social profiles the team member can create posts and edit plans for.

The team member will have no rights to do anything with the dimmed deactivated profiles. The team member won't even see these profiles in their app.
