Are some of your profiles, pages or groups not showing up?

You may need to refresh the connection of your social accounts to Post Planner.

To refresh your social profile connections, go to Settings > Social Networks.

Then follow the instructions below.

Refreshing your social profiles

This is what we call a "soft refresh" of your social profiles.

It should be your "first resort" when trying to fix errors, failed posts or missing profiles.

Here's how to do a "soft refresh" of each type of social profile

Facebook

  • Logout and then login
  • Click the REFRESH button
  • The REFRESH button will refresh your FB permissions and pull in all the pages/groups your connected profile is an admin of
  • IMPORTANT: this REFRESH button will always say "REFRESH" — no matter how many times you click it... (this is NOT an error)

Instagram

  • Logout and then login
  • Click the CONNECT MORE button on the Instagram row
  • CONNECT MORE will (1) refresh your currently connected business accounts and (2) pull in all the business accounts you have linked to your connect Facebook pages

LinkedIn

  • Logout and then login
  • Click the CONNECT MORE button on the Linkedin row
  • CONNECT MORE will connect to whichever LinkedIn account you are logged in to on the same browser (and will ask you to enter your login info again)
  • CONNECT MORE will refresh your LinkedIn profile along with all the pages your profile is an admin of

Pinterest (coming soon)

  • Logout and then login
  • Click the CONNECT MORE button on the Pinterest row
  • CONNECT MORE will connect to whichever Pinterest account you are logged in to on the same browser (and will ask you to enter your login info again)
  • CONNECT MORE will refresh your Pinterest profile along with all the pages your profile is an admin of

Twitter

  • Logout and then login
  • Click the CONNECT MORE button on the Twitter row
  • CONNECT MORE will connect to whichever Twitter account you are logged in to on the same browser (and will ask you to enter your login info again)
  • CONNECT MORE will refresh your Twitter profile along with all the pages your profile is an admin of

You're all set!

Please try again the Post Planner functionality you were having problems with before.

If the problems persist, you will probably need to do a hard reset of your social connections.
