To connect and authorize your social profiles, go to Settings > Social Networks.

Then follow the instructions below.

Connecting social profiles

You can connect and add the following social profiles to Post Planner:

  • Facebook pages and groups (that you're an admin of)

  • Instagram business accounts (that are linked to your connected FB pages)

  • LinkedIn profile and pages (that you're an admin of)

  • Pinterest accounts

  • Twitter profiles

To connect a profile, simply click the "CONNECT" button on the right side of the network row:

Once you click "CONNECT", please accept/allow ALL permissions that Post Planner asks for. We request the minimum permissions we need to make the app work for you.

Here are specific instructions for connecting each network:

Facebook

  • Click green "CONNECT" on Facebook row

  • Accept/allow ALL permissions

  • Connect ALL pages and groups

    • If you connect only a subset of your pages/groups, you risk having connection problems with Facebook/Instagram.

    • So please connect ALL your pages/groups and then activate (add a green checkmark to) the ones you want to use Post Planner to post to

  • Post Planner will pull in all the FB pages and groups your connected FB personal profile is an admin of

  • Post Planner will also display the profile pic of the connected FB personal profile.

    • You will NOT be able to activate your personal profile for posting. Facebook does not allow 3rd party apps like Post Planner to post to personal profiles.

    • We display your FB profile pic (dimmed out and inactive) to help you see which pages and groups are linked to each FB personal profile, in case you decide to connect more than one FB account to your Post Planner account

  • NOTE: for Group posting, you must explicitly add the Post Planner app to your groups

  • You can connect as many FB profiles (and their pages/groups) as you want (see below)
