If you're still using the Classic app, please scroll down to the 2nd section. The Classic app looks like this:

For users of the "New app"

If you can't login to the new app (located at app.postplanner.com) here are steps to fix the problem:

PRESTEPS: Before you try the steps below, try these quick fixes:

(1) Click "Login with Facebook" button here. A popup will open for some people. If the popup doesn't close automatically, close it manually and then refresh the login page. This often takes you into the app.

Summary: (a) Click "Login with FB", (b) Close popup, (c) Refresh Login page

(2) Click "Login with Facebook" button here. A popup will open and close, but the login page doesn't change. At that point, refresh the login page and it should take you into the app.

Summary: (a) Click "Login with FB", (b) Popup opens & closes, (c) Refresh Login page

IF PRESTEPS DON'T WORK: continue with the steps below

STEP 1: Make sure you are logged in to Facebook on the same browser

STEP 2: Make sure you are logged in as your Facebook personal profile (the one with "friends") and NOT as a Facebook page (the one with "fans") or as a business account.

STEP 3: If you are logged in as your Facebook profile, try a forced Post Planner logout and login by doing this:

STEP 4: If you get stuck with a spinning login button, do the following:

  • Try the above steps on a different browser (Chrome, Firefox or Safari)
  • If you successful at logging in on a different browser, please send us a message at [email protected] and tell us (a) the browser that blocked you and (b) the browser that let you login

STEP 5: If you get the same result on all browsers, go back to your original browser (the one you started with) and try the following:

STEP 6: If the full app reset does not work and you're still stuck with a spinning Login button, please open an incognito window on your browser, login to FB there, then click here to login to Post Planner

STEP 7: If you can't login even on the incognito browser, please check your Facebook privacy settings

  • Make sure you don't have any extreme or unusual settings on your account (these may block apps like ours from using FB login)
  • Normalize your settings and try the above steps again

If after all 7 steps, you still can't login, please email us at [email protected] and we'll see if there is something else we can do.

For users of the "Classic app"

If you can't login to the Classic app (with the green left sidebar, located at love.postplanner.com) here are steps to fix the problem:
